When Prince Harry's romance with Meghan Markle first blossomed, his life was very different to what it is now.
Back then in 2016, he was a full-time working royal living in his Kensington Palace cottage close to his now estranged brother Prince William.
But when he first started dating former Suits actress Meghan, he's previously admitted that he knew she'd be the one he'd marry from early in their romance.
So much so, that he also admits that a strict dating rule he once used to strictly follow was quickly ditched by him as soon as he met his future wife.
In his memoir Spare, Harry says he always told himself there were "firm rules" when it came to relationships, especially when you're royal.
He writes: "The main one was that you absolutely must date a woman for three years before taking the plunge."
However, Harry explains how Meghan was an "exception" to all of these rules, after realising following a trip to Africa.
He adds: "But Meg seemed the shining exception to this rule. All rules. I knew her straightaway, and she knew me. The true me. Might seem rash, I thought, might seem illogical, but it’s true: For the first time, in fact, I felt myself to be living in truth."
Of course, Harry and Meghan ended up marrying just under two years later in a fairytale Windsor wedding.
Soon after they quit the Royal Family and now live in California with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
However, earlier this week Harry had been in London on a surprise trip, where he has been seen at the High Court for his latest legal battle.
Harry attended three days of a four-day hearing in his claim against Associated Newspapers Limited (ANL).
His current trip to the UK is believed to be the first time Harry has been back in the UK since the late Queen's funeral in September.
His surprise return came nearly three months after he laid bare his troubled relationship with his father King Charles and brother Prince William in his controversial autobiography Spare.
Harry was not expected to meet up with his father while in the UK - even though the King was informed of his visit - as he is "busy" on Monday and Tuesday.
On Wednesday, he started the first state visit of his reign with a three-day trip to Germany with Queen Camilla, where they were given a ceremonial welcome at Berlin's Brandenburg Gate and attended a state banquet at Schloss Bellevue.
His visit also comes amid questions over whether he and Meghan will be in the UK in just six weeks time to attend the Coronation of his father at Westminster Abbey.
