Prince Harry's Spare claims at a glance - 'illegal' activities, sordid sex and 'violence'

Prince Harry promised his memoir 'Spare' would have "raw, unflinching honesty" - and it's fair to say he kept his word.

His highly-anticipated autobiography was supposed to his the shelves on Tuesday, but the contents of the book have been revealed after it accidentally went on sale in Spain.

Spare explores Harry's entire life, starting with his very public childhood, death of mum Princess Diana and his teenage struggles with drugs and sex, papers report.

Then it delves into his military experience, marriage to Meghan Markle and the breakdown of his relationship with the rest of the Royal Family.

The most shocking parts of the book see Harry reveal details of an alleged physical confrontation with brother Prince William, confess to killing 25 Taliban members in Afghanistan and explain how he lost his virginity to an older woman in a field.

Here is a look at Harry's biggest claims from Spare. Buckingham and Kensington Palace have declined to respond

Prince William

  • Harry calls him brother Willy, while the future king refers to him as Harold
  • William called Meghan difficult, rude and abrasive
  • William allegedly pushed him to the floor during a row at his Kensington Palace home - in an extract seen by the Guardian
  • Harry's necklace was ripped and he landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under his back and cut into him
  • William looked regretful and apologised, but told him not to tell Meghan about the incident
  • Harry contacted his therapist instead but Meghan noticed the bruises on his back

Military

  • He had a bad trip on magic mushrooms and a silver bathroom bin turned into a smiling figure.
  • In another drug-fuelled incident, Harry says he got so high he started whispering to a fox, a leaked extract reportedly claims.

  • When smoking weed with his schoolmates, he says they went into someone's room to watch episodes of Family Guy and he formed a 'strong bond' with baby character Stewie Griffin.

  • Had his first cocktail with the Queen Mother and taught her to do an impression of comedy character Ali G.

Sex and penis

The Queen

King Charles

  • Charles jokingly questioned whether he was Harry's father and made 'poor taste' joke about rumours James Hewitt is his real dad.
  • Any accounts of Charles having to reassure him Major Hewitt was not his dad are "invented".

Queen Camilla

Kate Middleton

  • Kate admitted she made Meghan cry during a row over bridesmaids dresses before the actress' wedding.
  • Kate said Charlotte's dress was 'too big, long and baggy' and the youngster burst into tears when she tried it on.

Buckingham and Kensington Palaces have refused to content on the contents of the book, which hits the shelves on Tuesday.
