Prince Harry's reality star 'ex' claims she 'doesn't recognise' him in Netflix documentary

A former girlfriend of Prince Harry says she 'doesn't recognise' him anymore following his appearance in a Netflix documentary about his life with Meghan Markle.

Real Housewives of DC star Catherine Ommanney, who claims she dated Harry for two months, says it's not the man she knew and that he would have never have taken part in such a show when they dated in 2006.

Catherine was 31 and Harry was just 21 when she claims they had a short-lived fling.

The reality star told Piers Morgan on his Talk TV show, Piers Morgan Uncensored, that Harry is "just really, really, really funny" and a "total gentleman" who was also "down to earth".

The reality TV personality added: "What I saw of him at the time, he was desperately searching for freedom and privacy and yet what he's done is completely turn the whole situation full circle, so now he’s got no privacy and no freedom," writes The Mirror.

"I just don't know whether I’d actually even recognise him anymore personality wise because when I watched him [on] the show, I just thought, ‘Why?’"

Catherine went on to say: "He would never in a million years, back in those days, have ever been that person to do the show. Never."

She claims to have first met the Duke of Sussex while in a bar in Chelsea, London, back in 2006.

As we reported, Prince Harry has 'absolutely no regrets' over the series, according to a royal source.

The Duke of Sussex is reportedly 'delighted' following the release of the first three episodes of the series, despite the intense backlash he has faced.

The first instalment gave viewers a look at the couple's life in California, showing intimate moments as well as never before seen footage of the pair and their children - Archie, three, and Lilibet, one.

Harry and Meghan part two will come to the streaming giant Thursday, December 15, as the latest trailer was released on Monday. The explosive trailer contains a clip of Harry saying: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us.”
