Prince Harry's Calls Unanswered By King Charles III Amid Security Concerns

Britain's King Charles III, Camilla, the Queen Consort and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, right, react as they watch a race at day two of the Royal Ascot horse racing meeting, at Ascot Racecourse in As

King Charles III has reportedly stopped answering his son Prince Harry’s phone calls. According to a source, their communication has worsened due to Harry’s request for security detail for his family. Despite Harry's attempts to reach out about the king’s health, his calls remain unanswered. The Duke of Sussex has expressed concerns for the safety of his wife, Meghan Markle, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, and has sought help from his father in reinstating their security detail.

However, a palace source clarified that the notion that Harry's security solely depends on Charles is incorrect. The estrangement between Harry and the royal family began when he and Meghan stepped back from their royal duties in 2020 and relocated to North America, resulting in the loss of their security detail.

In 2022, Harry expressed feeling unsafe traveling in the UK without adequate security and petitioned the government for additional protection due to documented threats. Despite the passage of time, Harry maintains that it is still risky to bring Meghan back to the UK, citing concerns about potential harm from extremist individuals.

Recently, London’s High Court ruled against Harry and his immediate family using tax-funded police protection during their visits to the UK. The ongoing security concerns and strained communication between Harry and his father underscore the complexities of the situation.
