Prince Harry reportedly misses home as he makes calls to King Charles ahead of Coronation

Prince Harry is reportedly 'homesick' as he makes phone calls to his father ahead of the Coronation. Reports suggest that the 38-year-old is also worried about security arrangements and where he would be placed in any sort of seating plan, as his father is officially crowned King Charles III on May 6.

According to the royal editor for The Mirror, while speaking to Sky News Australia, the Prince has been 'seeking reassurances' from the King and is 'homesick, missing his family'. It is also believed that some of the royal family hope that the Coronation will be the perfect occasion to help begin the mending of bridges between Harry and his family, following his rather explosive memoir 'Spare', along with other recent interviews.

But The Mirror's royal editor, Russell Myers, said he finds it difficult to believe Harry will be looking to rekindle relationships given some of the comments he has made about the family. He said: "It's very hard to see how that marriages up with his attitude."

Former royal butler Paul Burrell says Harry will be sitting '10 rows back' during the ceremony and is probably 'not going to hang around'. Some royal insiders believe he might only stay in the country for 24 hours.

And while Harry attends the Coronation, his wife Meghan will be celebrating Archie's 4th birthday, which falls on the same day, back in the US. Reports say she has planned a 'low-key' celebration for her son.

One source told People Magazine: "They'll have friends around them and Meghan's mom, Doria [Ragland]. Meghan will definitely have support that weekend." The source also spoke about Archie's little sister, Lilibet, saying: "They are so sweet together. Archie loves Lili.

"He's such a sweet boy. When she's not around, he asks, Where's Lili?"

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet last visited the UK for the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June last year. It was Lilibet's first ever trip to her father's homeland.

A source told People at the time that it was a "fantastic visit" where Lilibet, who was born on June 4, 2021, met Charles and the Queen for the first time. They said it was "very emotional" and a "wonderful thing" for Charles to see his granddaughter.
