Prince Harry paid a brief visit to Buckingham Palace following the historical crowning of his father at the weekend but never saw anyone from the royal family, according to new reports.
The Duke of Sussex reportedly spent less than half an hour in the royal residence when the Westminster Abbey service concluded on May 6, which saw King Charles officially crowned as the new head of state alongside his wife Queen Camilla.
Ex-working royal Harry, 38, kept a low profile at the landmark event following the growing tensions among the family in recent months as he headed straight back to his wife Meghan and their kids back in the US in a prompt departure from Heathrow Airport shortly after the event.
The lack of contact was for practical reasons, according to reports in the Mirror, as the rest of the family was busy with the ongoing proceedings. His latest visit to the palace is his first known one since the funeral of his gran, the late Queen Elizabeth.
Harry stayed at his former family home of Frogmore Cottage in Windsor during his 36-hour visit for the Coronation, the Telegraph reports.
The dad-of-two, who now lives out in California with wife Meghan and children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, was picked up in a black BMW and driven to Westminster Abbey, protected by a specialist Scotland Yard squad on the landmark day.
The Duke was forced to face the music solo, appearing alongside his family in a tense first appearance since the publication of his bombshell memoir Spare.
We previously reported how his placement at the event was crafted down to the finer details, as he sat in the third row, two behind his brother Prince William.
He was also absent from the official photos of King Charles' Coronation along with several other key royals in the snaps taken outside Buckingham Palace straight after the newly crowned Charles and Queen Camilla appeared on the palace balcony to greet crowds.
Meanwhile, the 74-year-old monarch made a statement thanking the nation for their support for his and Camilla's Coronation and pledging to rededicate his life to service.
The group picture features working members of royals as they are snapped beaming as they pose in their finest attire, with Charles and Camilla taking centre stage in the historical shot.
The King is flanked by his sister Princess Anne followed by her husband Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. They are joined by the Duke of Kent, the Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Gloucester.
On the other side, next to Camilla are the Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate followed by Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, who gives a helping hand to 86-year-old Princess Alexandra, along with Prince Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh.
The group shot is adults only and doesn't feature any of the pages of honour, which included Prince George, or other young royals that featured on the palace balcony after the Coronation - Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, Lady Louise Windsor and James, Earl of Wessex.
