Prince Harry arrives at High Court for battle with MGN over phone hacking
The Duke of Sussex has landed back in Los Angeles, after a flying visit to the UK to give evidence in his High Court phone hacking case against Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN).
Prince Harry, 38, is not thought to have seen his father, the King, or his brother, the Prince of Wales, during his brief trip, despite reportedly staying at royal residence Frogmore Cottage.
The duke’s recent brief stay is thought to be his last time staying at Frogmore, The Telegraph reported after he was evicted from the property by the King following the publication of his memoir Spare.
The Sussexes were given until early summer to vacate their Windsor residence however, the couple are not expected to return to the UK in the coming weeks, the newspaper added.
During the duke’s nearly eight-hour testimony this week, he accused Piers Morgan of “horrific personal attacks and intimidation”, as he was cross-examined about his allegations of unlawful information-gathering at Mirror Group Newspaper titles.
Today, proceedings will turn to Harry’s co-claimant, Coronation Street actor Nikki Sanderson who will give evidence in the witness box.
