Prince Harry claims he is ensuring the Queen has "the right people around her" to "protect" her in a new and revealing US interview.
Harry was appearing on US based the Today Show when he talked about his recent reunion with his grandmother.
He also told the show that America was, for the time being, "home".
The Duke of Sussex spoke with the Today show on Tuesday as he also spoke about his and Meghan's visit to the Invictus games.
His latest chat comes after he and Meghan quit their royal duties in Britain and Buckingham Palace and the full chat will be aired later today,
The Prince spoke to host Hoda Kotb about the Queen in a preview clip from the two hour long chat and spoke about her love of his sense of humour.
He said: "Being with her, it was great.
"It was just so nice to see her … She’s on great form. She's always got a great sense of humour with me and I'm just making sure she's protected and got the right people around her."
Asked if he'd made her laugh again, he said smiling: "Yes, I did. Both Meghan and I had tea with her and it was really nice to catch up with her."
He also said America now feels like his home saying: "You know, home — home for me, now, is you know, for the time being, is in the states.
"We've been welcomed with open arms and it's got such a great community up in Santa Barbara."
Harry had previously told the BBC about his meeting with Queen saying: "She had plenty of messages for Team UK which I've already passed on to most of them. So, it was great to see her and I'm sure she would love to be here if she could."
His latest US chat comes after his and Meghan's now famous interview with Oprah Winfrey where Meghan spoke about her mental health and suicidal thoughts during her time in the royal family.
Harry had also said he felt "let down" by Prince Charles and was cut off financially after moving to America.
The couple didn't make it to Prince Philip's recent memorial over security concerns and ongoing rumours of a rift with his brother, Prince William, and dad, Prince Charles.
