Prince Harry and Meghan Markle set for new Netflix docuseries titled Live to Lead

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have released the trailer for their new Netflix documentary.

Live To Lead is a docuseries that Prince Harry says has been inspired by the late Nelson Mandela, and features activist Greta Thunberg and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.

Other notable figures included in the series are South Africa’s national rugby captain Siya Kolisi, activist Gloria Steinem and former Justice of the Constitutional Court of South Africa, Albie Sachs.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are executive producers on the project and are likely to make several appearances throughout the seven-episode series.

“This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said ‘What counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived,'” Harry says in the advert before Meghan adds: “It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lead.”

“It’s about people who have made brave choices,” Harry continues at the end of the trailer.

Meghan adds: “To fight for change and to become leaders” before Harry concludes “And giving inspiration to the rest of us. To live, to lead.”

Referring to the new show, Netflix said on its website: "Leaders committed to making a difference in the world share their inspiring life stories in this series, executive produced by Prince Harry and Meghan."

The series, which is said to have been inspired by Nelson Mandela’s legacy, is produced by Blackwell & Ruth in association with The Nelson Mandela Foundation, the Sussexes’ production company Archewell and Cinetic Media.

The series, which is co-produced by the Nelson Mandela Foundation, is due to premiere on December 31.
