Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoyed a romantic date night at Soho House Austin ahead of the Duchess of Sussex’s keynote panel appearance at the 2024 SXSW conference. The Duke of Sussex, 39, and his wife, 42, were spotted at the ritzy members-only club Thursday night looking “happy and in great spirits.” The couple were seated in a secluded corner booth where they could cozy up to each other over dinner.
Harry was described as very animated throughout the dinner, and they appeared super low-key and happy to be around the upbeat vibes at the lively venue. Soho House holds a special place in their hearts, as it was where Harry took Markle on their first date in London back in July 2016.
Harry recalled being nervous on that first date, where he found Markle to be even more beautiful in person than in photos. The couple's relationship blossomed from there, leading to their marriage in May 2018. They now reside in Montecito, Calif., with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, after stepping back from their royal duties in January 2020.
Despite their change in status, Harry and Meghan remain committed to their philanthropic efforts, with Markle focusing on women’s empowerment. Markle is scheduled to speak on a SXSW panel titled “Breaking Barriers, Shaping Narratives: How Women Lead On and Off the Screen” alongside other notable figures.
