Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's beach clip with Archie to be recreated in new TV movie

A new film about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looks set to include a recreation of the royal couple's home video on the beach with their son Archie - footage that they shared during their interview with Oprah Winfrey.

During filming this week Sydney Morton, who is portraying expectant Meghan,39, in the movie Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace for US cable channel Lifetime, was pictured with a fake baby bump while on-set in Vancouver.

The actress, 37, was joined on the beach by Jordan Dean, who is playing Prince Harry, and a little boy who stars as Archie.

They appeared to be recreating the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's home video that showed the expectant mom playing on the beach with their son.

The video shared by the royals is thought to have been taken by Harry, 36, and shows Meghan and Archie playing together on a beach in California with one of their two dogs.

The film will follow the couple after the birth of their son Archie, now one, as they came to making the decision to step down as senior royals and what happened after the announcement.

The official synopsis said the made-for-TV movie will present a fictional account of "the couple's controversial conscious uncoupling from the crown, after the birth of their son Archie," according to TVLine.

"The movie details the struggles of the new parents and unique challenges of being part of the royal family, which ultimately led Harry and Meghan to give up their royal ties to forge a new life on their own terms."

Harry & Meghan: Escaping the Palace will follow Lifetime's first two films about the couple: Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance and Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal.

The first TV film aired a few days before the couple's actual wedding in 2018.

The filming of the TV movie comes after Prince Harry opened up about life in the royal family in an Apple TV documentary.

During the series, The Me You Can't See, Harry opens up in detail about how Diana's death in 1997 influenced his decision to quit the glare of life in the royal family.

Harry had also discussed the traumatic memories from his childhood which included the death of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, and harassment on social media of he and his wife Meghan Markle.
