Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are planning a new feature-length film about what goes on behind closed doors for members of the British royal family.
The couple are said to be in talks with Netflix to create the film, discussing their experiences of what goes on inside the palace.
A source told the Mirror that the couple will wait and see what the reception is like to a new film about Prince Andrew, which has been produced by the streaming giant.
The film called Scoop, is set to showcase the "inside track" on how Andrew came to do the interview, which led to him stepping back from public life.
The source said: "There are a lot of nuances from their story that they feel are still missing after the documentary and Harry's book."
It is reported the pair were "obviously happy" with their earnings from Netflix for the Harry & Meghan documentary and are looking forward to working with Netflix on a new project.
The source added: "There is no doubt they would get a handsome payday for it, which is hugely tempting. Meghan is really pushing for it to happen, while Harry wants to treat more carefully - but they are entertaining the idea and their team are talking about the kind of money they would want for the rights to their story."
Meghan and Harry's representative were contacted for comment by the Mirror.
The Duke and Duchess released a statement last week saying they were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase", which involved a taxi and reporters from the US paparazzi.
Meghan's mum Doria Ragland was travelling with the couple, after the Women’s 50th-anniversary gala event, run by the MS Foundation, when the alleged incident took place.
The royals released a statement saying they were relentlessly chased after leaving the Women of Vision awards ceremony in Manhattan.
The couple were wed in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018, and celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary last month.
They decided a year later to step down as working royals, and moved to California with son Archie, before welcoming second child, Princess Lilibet, in June 2021.
The couple gave Oprah Winfrey a bombshell interview after deciding to seek financial independence from Buckingham Palace.
Their own self-titled Netflix documentary was released just months before Harry published his controversial autobiography Spare, which included details of arguments with his brother, Prince William.
