Prince Harry has recalled the moment he saw his bride Meghan Markle walking down the aisle towards him at their royal wedding.
The couple were the centre of a media frenzy with the eyes of the world on them as they tied the knot in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on 19 May 2018.
But the pair only had eyes for each other, according to revelations made by Prince Harry in a Netflix documentary.
On what was going through his head when he saw Meghan walk up the aisle, Harry says: "Look at me and look what I've got. Look what I've found.
"The world was watching us but when we were actually at the altar as far as I was concerned it was just the two of us."
Meghan adds: "H and I are really, really good at finding each other in the chaos. It's not that the rest of it doesn't matter, but it feels temporary."
As well as filling the chapel with their nearest and dearest, the couple invited members of the public to join the celebrations in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Hollywood star George Clooney and his lawyer wife Amal Clooney, US talk show host Oprah Winfrey, British actor Idris Elba, tennis champion Serena Williams and Meghan's former cast mates from Suits were among the famous faces at the wedding.
Other big names taking their seats were David and Victoria Beckham, and singer James Blunt. Former prime minister Sir John Major and his wife Dame Norma were also in attendance.
When Meghan appeared at the far end of the chapel Harry was visibly moved, watching with a smile as she approached, walked up the aisle by then-Prince Charles, her father-in-law to be.
Meghan wore an elegant, simple, pure white gown designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, with three quarter length sleeves and open bateau neckline.
In the stunning gown and accompanied by a bevy of page boys and flower girls Meghan can be seen to beam as she makes her way towards her soon-to-be Husband.
Harry told his bride "you look amazing", to which Meghan replied "thank you" as they met at the altar.
The couple tenderly held hands and exchanged smiles during the wedding ceremony.
Meghan's delicate veil was five metres long and made from silk tulle, with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza, with two of her pageboys carrying the ends as she made her way up the steps.
After the signing of the registers, Harry and Meghan together with the guests sang the national anthem. The couple paused briefly to bow and curtsey to the Queen before walking down the aisle.
The new Duke and Duchess of Sussex beamed with delight as they emerged from the historic church set in the grounds of Windsor Castle.
The newlyweds then shared an iconic kiss in front of cheering crowds on the steps of St George's Chapel after pledging their love to one another at their fairytale wedding.
Moments before, Meghan whispered "do we kiss now?" to her new husband.
The pair set off on an open-top carriage ride through the streets of Windsor where tens of thousands of well-wishers had descended on the town for the royal nuptials.
