An excited Prince George could hardly contain himself as he enjoyed his first ever Wimbledon final, although he appeared less than impressed with Nick Kyrgios' on-court antics.
George, along with his parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, took to their seats for the explosive men's singles final between Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic.
Kate Middleton took the future king to the electrifying final on a sweltering centre court because it was her first born's "treat day".
George, dressed in a dashing suit and tie, arrived without siblings Charlotte or Louis but could be seen engrossed in the captivating showpiece.
While Kate, a patron of the All England Club, and William greeted a group of military personnel who are working as stewards at the championship, young George, eight, was asked who he was supporting.
The youngster appeared too shy to answer so William looked at him and whispered: “Djokovic” before adding: “We’ll see how long it lasts. He’ll support the winner.”
Watching from the Royal Box, George was snapped covering his head with his hands as he looked on nervously during the early stages of the fierce contest.
Plenty of people have taken to Twitter after Kyrgios' outburst at his box, which appeared to include some choice swear words.
With the pair tied at one set each, George appeared to have a somewhat confused and scrunched look on his face as he looked in the direction of the Australian.
His outburst prompted Marion Bartoli, former Wimbledon champion, to comment on BBC Radio 5 Live: "This just has to stop. Kyrgios can't keep doing this - this is the final of Wimbledon. The umpire has to step and do something."
One tweeted: "The little Prince George was not impressed with all the swear words from Nick. His expression got me laughing so hard earlier."
Another agreed, adding: "These constant foul-mouthed tirades by Nick Kyrgios at #WimbledonFinal right in front of the Royal Box and young 8-year old Prince George are a disgrace. Hope he gets fined big time."
It came after Kyrgios, who is competing in his first ever Wimbledon final, lost his temper during the fifth game of the third set.
A woman could be heard heckling him from the crowd as he attempted to serve.
It prompted the irate Australian to ask: "Why is she still here?"
Kyrgios is no stranger to on-court meltdowns and has appeared to lose respect among some viewers after his seemingly frequent outbursts.
He was branded 'evil' by third round opponent Stefanos Tsitsipas after one of the most controversial matches in Wimbledon history.
Kyrgios admitted he spat in the direction of a spectator as he criticised "disrespectful" fans during a post-match news conference while eating sushi on day one.
At various other stages of the match, however, young George could be seen getting some pointers from his sports-mad dad about what was happening, appearing to receive some key tips on how the finale was shaping up.
Prince George is known to be a keen tennis fan though and has been having lessons on the court since he was five.
Roger Federer - eight-time Wimbledon champion - previously revealed he has given Prince George private lessons - and the youngster has talent with a racquet.
He said: "At that stage it's all about just touch the ball, it's already good."
