Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis bake cakes with Kate for street party

The Duchess of Cambridge shares a sweet moment with her children as they worked together to bake cakes in a sweet video.

Princes George and Louis joined sister Princess Charlotte in the kitchen to prepare the cupcakes for people attending a Platinum Jubilee street party in Wales.

The children got stuck into their task as they whisked and added the ingredients to create the sweet treats.

Sharing a video on their Twitter account, the little family could not stop smiling as they got to work.

The royals tweeted: “Baking cakes for the local community in Cardiff to enjoy at a Platinum Jubilee street party taking place today!

“We hope you like them!”

It appeared amongst the fun of baking Charlotte, seven, was forced into an outfit change as her pink top at the start of the fun was replaced with a black and white striped one.

Several royal fans shared the cute video, praising the family in the process.

One said: “The Cambridges are a model family. The monarchy is in good hands.”

Another said: “Just when I think the Platinum Jubilee celebrations can’t get any better, out comes this video!!

“Thank you so much for sharing it with us.”

Another replied: “You all look so happy.

“There is a little bit of cheekiness in those children and it’s great to see.”

The Duchess of Cambridge’s cupcake making skills have previously been praised by ex-Great British Bake Off judge and host of the Best Home Cook Mary Berry.

The pair appeared together on the baking legend's 2019 festive special, A Berry Royal Christmas in 2019.

Mary said of her baking abilities to Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on This Morning at the time: “She's confident and she's giggly and (says) "I don't think I can', but she does.

“I remember we were down at the RHS at Wisley and she was bringing her garden from Chelsea, the children's garden and play centre.

“She was piping cupcakes and they were just... if not better than mine, they were beautiful and she was laughing away and enjoying it.

“I think she's a great person, she'll have a go at anything.”

The Platinum Jubilee celebrations continue today as millions of Brits prepare for the Big Jubilee lunch.

Streets will be cleared of cars and replaced with tables and chairs as neighbours come together to celebrate the final day of the four-day commemoration.

“Over ten million people across the UK are expected to be joining the celebrations to share friendship, food and fun at Big Jubilee Lunches as part of this nationwide act of community friendship.

“People across the world are also joining in with over 600 international Big Jubilee Lunches being planned throughout the Commonwealth and beyond - from Canada to Brazil, New Zealand to Japan and South Africa to Switzerland.”
