It has been confirmed by the chief executive of Tusk that during the lockdown Prince George organised a cake sale to raise money for a conservation charity. Charlie Mayhew told GB News confirmed that Prince George wrote a “very sweet card about it” and he spoke about his concern for endangered animals.
Prince William the father of Prince George is patron of Tusk and he is a prominent campaigner for environmental issues. Mr Mayhew told GB News: “Prince George very sweetly did a little cake sale to raise money for Tusk during lockdown and wrote a very sweet card about it, clearly demonstrating his concern for Africa’s wildlife.”
In the past Prince William has spoken out about how he is not willing to look his children in the eye and tell them that his generation that let wildlife go extinct. Back in 2018 he said: "It’s heartbreaking to think that by the time my children, George, Charlotte and Louis are in their 20s, elephants, rhinos and tigers might well be extinct in the wild."

Speaking about the Rhinos that he saw on a trip to Africa he said they "are so threatened they have more bodyguards than I do”. However Tusk did not reveal how much money George raised in his cake sale.
