Prince George has a 'protective relationship' with younger siblings Charlotte and Louis

In light of Prince George’s upcoming ninth birthday this week, entertainment magazine US Weekly has released a new video detailing how “protective” the future monarch is over his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis - as well as how the kid royal is dealing with his future within the monarchy.

A source disclosed to the magazine that George is a "hard worker" in addition to being "very smart" and at the “top of [his] class".

The unnamed source also stated that like many children his age, he "sometimes needs a nudge" to stay on track; however, he is described to be “very protective” of his siblings.

In addition they claim that Prince George, 8, “goes out of his way to help his mother with the household chores, especially when it earns him extra time on electronics," reports the Express.

The insider also claimed that "William and Kate are both so proud of him" and add that the young prince is "very sociable", as well as being known to be "a Daddy's boy".

This is due to the fact that the father and son duo have "got a ton of the same interests” beyond having similar “physical appearance”, but that they also have “hobbies in common - even helicopters".

The video also sheds a light on the fact that while "there are big things in the young royal's future", the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been critiqued to have done an "excellent job" in keeping George very "well-adjusted", while adding that that he is a "very well-grounded [and] down-to-earth" boy who "handles his legacy incredibly well".

It is even reported that George is indeed aware of the future that is ahead of him, according to the source, and that the eight-year-old is in fact "aware that one day he'll be king" and understands "what this entails".
