Prince Andrew reportedly planning tell-all autobiography to 'set the record straight'

PRINCE Andrew is reportedly thinking about releasing a tell-all autobiography in a bid to “set the record straight”.

Andrew is said to be in talks with a US author who has previously worked with high-profile celebrities and politicians.

It’s been reported that there are two publishers interested in the autobiography.

This comes after The National revealed in January that 72% of Scots want Andrew stripped of his Inverness title

His book was reportedly described to publishers as “Spare 2.0” in the wake of his nephew Prince Harry’s explosive memoir.

Spare was released in January and included several insights into the royal family.

The book sold almost 1.5 million copies in North America and the UK in just 24 hours.

Andrew is keen to “fully explain his association with Jeffrey Epstein and the resulting falling-out”, a source told the Daily Mail.

They said: “Andrew was the original spare and there’s plenty of material. Compared to Harry, he has a far greater depth of history to draw from.

“It would also be a fascinating insight into the inner workings of the royals and their relationships.”

Andrew stepped back from his public role in the royal family in May 2020 with his honorary military affiliations and royal charitable patronages removed almost two years later.

In Harry’s book, he revealed that his brother Prince William physically attacked him during an argument in 2019.
