Footage has been released showing Prince Andrew giving royal fans “bizarre” advice on how to keep warm in the cold weather.
The Duke of York, 62, mingled with crowds at Sandringham after attending the Christmas Day church service.
One clip shows spectator Andy stop and ask a woman: “Cold feet?”
When she replied that she was “freezing”, Andrew interjected: “Did you know the trick is to bring a newspaper? Stand on a newspaper and you insulate your feet.”
The royal fan then thanked him for the advice before the King’s brother walked away.
An onlooker who recorded the exchange told The Sun: “The whole thing was really odd.
"Andrew stopped in front of us and blurted out the most bizarre advice about keeping warm.
"I don’t imagine the woman will be testing his theory any time soon."
The footage was captured as the royals walked back from their first Christmas service since the death of the Queen.
King Charles and Queen Consort Camilla were joined by William and Kate and their children George, Charlotte and Louis.
The family put on a show of unity despite reports that Andrew has been kicked out of Buckingham Palace by his brother King Charles.
The Duke of York will reportedly no longer be permitted to hold an office inside the building or use it as an address for correspondence.
