The Prime Minister's plane has been circling skies over the East Midlands coastline, according to air traffic data
Live air traffic webiste FlightRadar24 shows an Airbus KC2 Voyager, used by Boris Johnson and the Royal Family, has been flying close to Skegness.
The aircraft, which has the registration ZZ336, was flying at an altitude of around 16,000ft.
The plane is shown having set off from its base at RAF Brize Norton in Oxford at around 10.45am on Thursday, March 3.
Its flightpath shows it passing over areas near Sleaford and Coningsby in Lincolnshire, before flying directly over Ingoldmells and then heading out off the east coast, where it appears to have been circling for some time.
The Airbus KC2 Voyager was repainted in the colours of the Union Jack flag in 2020 at a cost of £900,000, as reported by LincolnshireLive.
The plane, which is used for ministerial trips and for the Royal Family, was repurposed for use by the UK government in 2015.
