Prime land site close to Amazon's South Wales fulfilment centre brought to market

A prime development site close to Amazon’s fulfilment operation near Swansea has been brought to market.

The 5.9 acres of land at Jersey Marine already has planning consent for up to 57,000 sq ft of new industrial and trade counter space.

It is being marketed by Cardiff-based property advisory firm Fletcher Morgan, with a £1m asking price.

Fletcher Morgan said it has already received significant interest from local and UK-wide developers.

The site is owned by an undisclosed private local investor and have been levelled for development.

Whilst is it being marketed as an opportunity for new units ranging from 1,524 sq ft to 6,456 sq ft a developer could potentially look to a smaller number of larger units.

The land is in the local authority areas of Neath Port Talbot.

Fletcher Morgan has also been instructed by transport company Stagecoach to market its depot site at Brynmawr.

It consists of a 17,33 sq ft building within a 0.75 acre site adjacent to Lakeside and Brynmawr retail parks.

It is being market with a near £600,000 price tag.
