Prime Hydration drink being sold for up to £50,000 on eBay

Shoppers have been desperately trying to get their hands on an energy drink created by two popular YouTube stars, KSI and Logan Paul.

The Prime Hydration drink is only available in Asda and aims to "fill the void where great taste meets function." The product is available in a choice of seven flavours and has been so popular that Asda has restricted the sale of the £2 drink to three bottles per customer.

With shoppers desperately trying to get their hands on the drink, sellers have been advertising the product for thousands of pounds online. Bottles of the Prime Hydration drink have been listed for thousands of pounds on eBay, with a 12 pack of the blue raspberry flavour currently being advertised for £50,000 on the auction site. Individual 500ml bottles are also being sold for as much as £10,000 each on eBay.

Shoppers have also been forming queues at their local Asda stores in an attempt to get their hands on the drink before it flies off the shelves. Earlier this week, the ECHO reported that one mum had visited the Huyton store at 6am for three weeks to get her daughter a bottle of Prime. Customers were also spotted queuing for the drink outside the Asda store on Smithdown Road.

Rapper KSI has 24 million YouTube subscribers, while Logan Paul has 23.6 million. The official Prime Instagram account currently boasts 1.2 million followers, highlighting the interest in the highly sought-after drink.
