Prime Energy craze as Glasgow has third highest demand for drink in the UK

Analysis has revealed that Glasgow has the third greatest demand for Prime Energy drinks in the UK.

The financial experts at gamblingngo.com analysed how many monthly Google searches for Prime Energy drinks are made per 1,000 people in the largest UK towns and cities to determine where the viral craze has caused the most demand.

And the study found that Glasgow has the third highest demand for Prime. The only Scottish location listed in the top ten, the city has 16.25 monthly searches per 1,000 people.

The figures are 98 per cent greater than the national average. Approximately 9,730 searches for Prime drinks are made in Glasgow each month.

Liverpool has come out on top with 17.96 monthly searches , and Blackburn (in England) is second with 17.43 monthly searches for the popular drink.

Prime Energy, created by YouTube influencers KSI and Logan Paul, has had people travelling for hours to get their hands on some. Queues have formed outside supermarkets and petrol stations for the drink, and a viral trend even began of children opening bottles of the juice on Christmas Day.

Glasgow has the third highest demand for Prime drinks in the United Kingdom (Glasgow Live)

Analysis reveals that around 2 million searches were made for Prime Hydration drinks last year, with data suggesting approximately 9.83 per cent, or almost one in ten UK residents, have been searching in the last year for the energy drink.

A spokesperson at gamblingngo.com commented on the findings: “The mania surrounding Logan Paul and KSI’s energy drink, which has sparked a massive surge in customer demand across the UK, demonstrates the power of influencers.

"Our data suggest that the North West and North East have the highest demand, two-thirds greater than the national average. It is fascinating to see which areas the internet craze has taken over, with the North West showing the strongest search intent and being the only UK region with multiple areas appearing in the top ten.

"Drinks prices could rise even further if demand intensifies across the South of England, such as the case with bottles reportedly sold for £100 each in some Northern areas”.
