Parents matching their outfits with their children is a major social media trend and high-street stores have been quick on the uptake.
Shops have been releasing collections of 'mini-me' style outfits but Primark's take on twinning has left some shoppers divided, Manchester Evening News and the Mirror reports.
The store has released a collection of matching £6 spring dresses for mums and daughters but those with boys have been angrily asking where are the opportunities for them to dress similarly to their sons.

The row started after Primark shared a video of the matching floral dresses for mums and daughters on TikTok. The video showed two mannequins in identical floral patterns, and written over the top of the video was: "Time to twin with your little one."
Over the top, the voiceover said: "I don't know who needs to hear this, but spring is coming." But while many mums couldn't wait to twin with their little ones, others were left upset.
Mums of boys headed to the comments section to express their disappointment the collection was limited to girls.
One mum wrote: "Mums of boys would love it if Primark did a collection where you could match with the little men in your life!"
Another said: "We want to match our boys too! Come on now, my boy would rock that print in a pair of shorts."
One mum said: "Some mums have boys, believe it or not. Are we just not allowed to matchy match?"
Primark's Instagram post showcasing the floral Spring dresses was met with a similar reaction. One Instagram user said: "Super cute, but what about mums and boys?"
Those who could participate in the trend seemed particularly excited, however, with many mums tagging their pals, saying they were purchasing the matching outfits for them and their daughters, says the Mirror.
A Primark spokesman said: "We regularly have matching ranges for the entire family, including our famous Christmas fam jams and our Amalfi lemon range last summer. Keep your eyes peeled for our upcoming summer family collection, due in stores in about eight weeks!"
