Fashion enthusiasts have been left absolutely stunned after finding out that Primark is stocking a 'dupe' of a designer handbag loved by celebrities for more than £3,000 cheaper.
The budget fashion retailer regularly stocks premium designer lookalikes for less and and its latest is said to be a dead ringer for a £3,140 designer handbag from the celeb-adored brand, Bottegga Venetta.
One eagle-eyed shopper recently took to social media to share the bargain Primark item, which is priced at just £7, after realising that it would cost thousands of pounds less compared to its pricier rival.
The Primark TikTok fan account, @primarkxo, compared the retailer's Double Weave Crossbody Bag to the pricier Bottegga Veneta Paddedd Cassette bag - and they are alost identical.
Available in four different colours, white, black, coral and ecru, Primark's woven textured handbag is the perfect budget statement piece that will compliment any outfit this season.
Bottegga' Veneta's Paddedd Cassette is also rather similar in both look and shape, while also being available in a variety of different colours, reports the Manchester Evening News.
It comes just after fellow fashion fans spotted that Primark was also stocking another major designer 'dupe', as its £9 Studded Embellished Shoulder Bag was said to be almost identical to Balenciaga's £1,150 Women’s Le Cagole Mini Bag With Chain Metallized In Silver
And the Double Weave Crossbody Bag was not the only 'dupe' that the Primark fan account managed to find, as the £11 Quilted Grab Bag was compared to Bottega’s £1,880 Mini Jodie.
The Primark version is described as a “trendy grab bag with an intricate quilted texture” that is “not too big to overshadow your outfit, and not too small to go unnoticed.
There are a few slight differences between the two, as the Bottega version is available in 23 colours, while Primark's is only available in blue and white. Primark's Quilted Grab Bag also features a crossbody strap, while Bottegga's features a woven strap.
The £7 Double Weave Cross Body Bag and £11 Quilted Grab Bag are both available to purchase in Primark. Check with your local store for stock availability.
