Primark shoppers rushing to store to get their hands on new Stranger Things items

Primark has delighted shoppers after announcing the release of more coveted Stranger Things items.

The high street favourite caused a frenzy in the summer with the launch of its Hellfire Club t-shirts, styled after the same shirt sported by fan-favourite character, Eddie Munson. The retailer's tops went on to be sold for more than £100 on eBay.

Now, the popular store - which differs from others because it doesn't have a traditional website and relies primarily on in-store purchases - has excited shoppers with the launch of a new range of clothing and accessories inspired by the smash hit Netflix series.

Sharing an Instagram Reel video to its 9.9 million followers, Primark cut together images of characters from the show and added the words "you asked, we listened", before sharing snippets of fan comments begging for more Stranger Things products. The footage confirms the return of the much longed-for Hellfire top, with Primark adding the words: "Get ready to run up that hill into stores".

Captioning the clip, Primark penned: "Stranger Things fans rejoice! Our latest collection of style steals are in-store now From Hellfire Club & Hawkins High staples to Dustin's 'Byte Off' tee and 'Thinking' cap, we've got it all! #PrimarkXStrangerThings".

The range proved popular on the hit social media platform, racking up more than 515K views and over 5,700 likes in a matter of hours. Excited shoppers shared their thoughts in the comments section.

Kelly said: "Omg yes! Need!" Dorelice said: "OMG yeeesss". Bethany tagged a friend and said: "ITS OKAY I ONLY NEED THE JACKET AND HAT AND I HAVE THE FULL SET".

Terrie said: "Thank goodness!!!!!" Helen told a friend: "potential Xmas ideas for your two!" Lyndsey tagged a few friends and said: "we need to keep our eyes out for theses please".

Hayley said: "oh my god! Get me to Primark!!!" Other shoppers simply tagged their friends to direct them to Primark's post, while some simply posted heart and fire emojis.
