A Primark shopper appears to have found the 'perfect' dupe for one of the biggest designer brand's must-have summer bags - and it's a whopping £1,490 cheaper. Ellie Butler took to TikTok to share some of the new bits she spotted in the high-street store ahead of what will hopefully be a long hot summer.
If not, hopefully, you'll be jetting off to sunnier climes and then the summer inspo will come in just as handy. Ellie is the childhood sweetheart of Celtic footballer Liam Shaw, who is currently on loan at Morecambe.
Ellie, who is the proud owner of Prada’s £1,500 raffia tote which she sported while wandering around Paphos in Cyprus last year, found a Primark dupe for the bag as she browsed the retailer's latest offerings as they get their summer stock through the doors and onto the shop floor.

In a video shared on her YouTube channel, Ellie is heard saying as she panned her phone to film the bag rails: "They had all the summer stuff in. They had the dupes of the Prada raffia bag that I've got, in like pink and a beige colour. They've got the mini versions too, they'd be cute on holiday."
She also posted a look at the new summer collection on her TikTok page @ellxbutler with her followers quickly tagging their mates in need for a shopping trip.
Primark's open weave straw shopper comes in beige, bright pink, green and black and is just £10. Describing the bag on the website, Primark said: "Calling all avid shoppers! This straw bag belongs in your collection."
It comes after an eagle-eyed shopper spotted a different bag in Primark that is a dead ringer for a £3,140 designer bag by celeb-adored brand Bottega Veneta. While the original Bottega Veneta Padded Cassette handbag costs more than £3,100, Primark's is considerably cheaper, and will save fashion fans a whopping sum of £3,133 - or 449 times less.
Primark’s Double Weave Crossbody Bag was first spotted by TikTok user primarkxo, who compared it to Bottega Veneta’s pricey Padded Cassette. The Primark version is described as the perfect way to “add some texture to your accessories collection."
