Primark is selling a set of £14 heels that have a similar style to a £1,000 pair by designer Versace.
The high street retailer shared a picture of the bargain shoes on its Instagram page and 11.4k people liked the post and began talking about how much they wanted a pair. Primark is famed for its low cost fashion and often brings out products that are ‘dupes’ of far more expensive items.
The heels shared in the picture come in black and tan and feature a crossover ankle strap and gold chain detail across the toes. Primark’s heels cost £14 a pair, but the style is similar to Versace’s Medusa Chain Leather sandals, which come in a range of colours including black, gold, pink, blue and white. These retail for between £980 and £1,100.

The Versace pair feature a similar chain detail across the toes, but also on the ankle strap. They also feature more of a stiletto heel, compared to Primark’s chunkier style heel. You can view and purchase them here.
Posting the picture of their version on its Instagram page, Primark said: “Tonight's shoe decision. Heels £14/€18/$20.” The shoes are available in stores now.
More than 160 people commented on the post with many tagging friends in excitement. Barlow_ursula said: “Oh, I love the tan and gold ones”. Mrshpasky added: “Wow there both gorgeous”.
