Budget retailer Primark is selling a pair of mules which look very similar to ones sold by Zara - but for around £42 less.
Primark, which is hugely popular in Liverpool, has become known for its designer dupes in recent years, often selling alternative versions to high-end products for much less. This time around, the retailer is selling a pair of metallic mules which are very similar to Zara’s Leather Metallic Heeled Mules, which are priced at £55.99 online.
Primark’s mules, which is priced at £14, were shown off on the retailer’s Instagram page, along with a number of other shoes. The post read: “Which are you choosing? Prices from £14/€18/$20.”

The shoes are similar in style to Zara’s £56 Leather Metallic Heeled Mules, both featuring a metallic finish and small kitten heel. However, Zara’s shoes have a more textured finish and a pointed toe, while Primark’s are shiny and have a square toe.
Beneath Primark’s Instagram post, many shoppers praised the metallic mules. One person said: “have you seen the shiney metallic kitten heels [heart eyes emoji].”
A second wrote: “I choose... all of them. Definitely must haves.” A third added: “the shiny silver ones *pops them in my basket!*”
While Primark doesn’t offer an online shop, the retailer does have a website where shoppers can see its latest products and check if they’re in stock before heading into stores to purchase them.
