A beloved era of fashion is making a comeback in style, thanks to our Gen-Zers, and we never thought we’d be anymore nostalgic. From velour tracksuits (we’re looking at you Juicy Couture), cropped tees, to baggy pants, we’re very much on board to pay homage to an era that was dominated by pop culture and excess.
Popular budget retailer Primark is partly responsible for bringing this Y2K accessory into the limelight and it's got fans on Instagram buzzing. Primark announced in a recent post that it will be stocking a 2000s inspired set of hair claws ranging in several pastel colours.
The caption on the post read: “Get the Y2K look with our hair claws only £2/€3/$4 each #Primark #Y2K”. Since the post’s debut on March 13, many users have flocked to the comments’ section to share their excitement, while also tagging friends about the return of the hair claw.

One commenter wrote, “absolutely love these” with another chiming in to celebrate the good old times, by writing that the “90s are back again”.
Other commenters were inspired by the vibrant colours of the pastel theme for fun hairdo ideas. One shopper wrote: “I need these for summer”, with another user adding: “Wait they remind me of the Barbie movies” alongside the crying emoji.
And some Primark fans oversees were unhappy that they couldn't get the new collection where they live. One shopper in the USA wrote: “Please come to the US so I can add more stuff to my collection please".
Shoppers will have to act fast to get their hands on the hair clips. To find your nearest store, use the Primark store locator on their website.
