Christmas time is full of sparkly partywear, but sometimes it can be a little on the expensive side. If something is adorned in sequins, fur, or feathers, the likelihood that the price escalates is quite high, even on the high street - but fear not - that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun.
If you're looking for party season on a budget, then Primark has got your back. Known for their dupes, they've done it once more after offering a similar top to Zara for almost less than half the price - that's music to our ears. The original has also now sold out online - so run, don't walk!
Fashionista Ellie Butler headed to Primark to bag her Christmassy garments, splashing out hundreds on the massive haul where she managed to grab a huge amount of outfits to see her through the party season- including the £25 Zara dupe crop top and a very similar shoe to Mach & Mach's £900 double Bow crystal-embellished leather and PVC heeled sandals.
She posted the haul on her @ellxbutler TikTok account, with the iconic song 'All I want for Christmas is you' playing over it, impressing other shoppers online.
Ellie bagged the silver sparkly crop top, some leather-look silver pants, heels, a matching bag, a sequinned crop top, a burgundy sequinned shirt, a sequinned dress, a blazer, a sequinned bandeau with matching pants, a crop top and skirt combo with silver metal detailing, a black sequinned shirt, a black satin mini dress, and a silver sequinned skirt and a fur coat.
She captioned the video: "Primark party collection! I’ve bought it all lol, let me know if you want a try on."
Later, she posted a video showing some of the garments she'd purchased, proving the Zara dupe crop top is almost identical to the original.
One user wrote: "The best", but another wasn't impressed with the price of the dupe top, commenting: "Ain’t no way I’ve just seen a Primark crop top for £25." Well, at least it's still half the price of the original.
