Primark fans snap up 'classic' £12 swimwear that looks like £160 designer Selfridges brand ahead of Summer holidays

Primark’s new swimwear range has gone viral on TikTok and has shoppers running to stores to buy it. Fashion fans have compared the Primark pieces to designer swim brand Hunza G, which could cost you £160 to purchase some of their bikinis.

Holidaymakers say they are “obsessed” with the budget retailer's new swimwear range which has been released just in time for summer.

A video has gone viral on TikTok, comparing the range to much loved British swimwear brand Hunza G - the designer brand famously worn by stars such as Michelle Keegan, Kim Kardashian and Holly Willoughby.

Hunza G is known for its crinkle-stretch fabric and high-cut design.

In a viral TikTok posted by jessgraysonn she predicted the “Hunza G dupes” from Primark will “fly out” of stores across the UK, so she stocked up before her August holiday.

In the video which has almost 300k views, the fashion lover showed off several swimwear pieces that are dupes for the designer label, which includes Primark’s £12 crinkled swimsuits that is a dead ringer for Hunza G’s £155 Square Neck Swim.

The Hunza G suit is made out of crinkle fabric, similar to the Primark design and is described as: "Once a classic, always a classic. With our 80s heritage rooted at its core, if you need to add just one swimsuit to your arsenal, make sure it's the Square Neck."

If you’re more of a bikini fan, Primark has textured bikinis in a range of colours including orange, green and purple from £6 which is a dupe for Hunza G’s £155 Xandra Bikini. They even have Textured Bandeau from £5 and knot bikinis from £7 which are similar to the designer labels £160 Ruby bikini.

Ellie Simmonds commented on the video saying: “These are cuteeee” while Amy tagged her friend saying: “We need.” Izzy Cross said “omg the orange shoulder one” and Live said she wanted “them all.”

Another user said “get in my basket” while many other viewers said a shopping trip to Primark was on the cards after seeing the viral swimwear range.
