Weekend Editors:
The Canadian Press will have all the breaking news from across the country this weekend, but we also have a slate of news features planned. We have reporters continuing to cover the latest on the convoy protests in Ottawa and Windsor, Ont., as well as staff covering other protests that are planned for this weekend across the country.
Here is an early look at some of the stories we expect to publish in the days ahead. Questions can be directed to weekend Assistant News Editor Michelle McQuigge at Michelle.McQuigge@TheCanadianPress.com or Acting Director of Continuous News Kevin Ward at Kevn.Ward@TheCanadianPress.com.

Black-History-Health-Workers
MONTREAL -- When 26-year-old nurse Stephanie Bumba looks at herself in the mirror wearing her uniform, she feels pride and sees a past she wants to honour. The overrepresentation of Black women in health care is a reflection of the values and culture of Black people, according to Bumba and other members of Quebec's Black community. But that rich history in health care has also placed a burden on Black Quebec households: they have had higher rates of COVID-19 infection compared with the general public, research indicates.
