PrettyLittleThing's body positivity post is a hit with shoppers

PrettyLittleThing's (PLT) body positivity Instagram post has been a huge hit with shoppers and fans of the brand.

PLT recently partnered with Brunna Teixeira, a London based influencer who frequently shares posts in underwear and bikinis to show off her stretch marks. The fashion giant shared a video on its Instagram of Brunna trying on a set of black PLT underwear.

More and more brands and influencers have started sharing body positivity content as awareness about the dangers of social media has grown. The hashtag bodypositivity on Instagram currently has over 11 million posts.

PLT shared the video, and in the caption said: "BE YOU. Not just today but EVERYDAY @brunna.teixeira_ in our Black Stretch Satin Double Strap Bra & Black Stretch Satin Strappy Thong #PrettyPowerful"

Sharing the video on her own account, Brunna Teixeira said: "Coping with a changing body is hard. But find peace with your body, body changes are inevitable at one point or another in your life.

"Be you, be your favourite kind of women."

Other users were loving the post on PLT's page. One person said: "This is one of the BEST bodies I’ve seen on here! Something real, something raw!" and another said: "Women should be cherished for what they do for the world, not regulated and held down by laws and glass ceilings. Thank you for posting this."

Others mentioned the post making them feel emotional, as one person said: "YES SIS A REAL BODY!!!! im gonna cry this makes me so happy" and another said: "I don’t know why.. but this made me emotional - a real body that is being advertised and is so beautiful", and another said: "Thank you for posting this! I took a social media break because of how I was comparing myself to others and as soon as I get back on I see this, she is relatable, she is me!"
