The countdown for Black Friday has begun and despite one of the biggest sales of the year not arriving until at least another couple of months, many retailers are getting prepared in advance.
This year's Black Friday will begin on Friday, November 25 but many outlets will be hosting sales ahead of the official date. Black Friday is a major fixture in the shopping calendar and allows shoppers to take advantage of the month-long influx of deals and discounts before Christmas.
Originally an annual shopping event in the US, the date has made its way over to the UK and across the world, which sees tens of thousands of brands and retailers taking part. PrettyLittleThing (PLT), UK-based fashion retailer, aimed at 16-35-year-old women, will be one of the many fashion retailers joining in the event.

The Manchester based brand, who has offices in London, Paris and Los Angeles, has created a landing page already so shoppers can keep a close eye on when their sale launches. But when does their sale officially start and what can PLT fans expect from the sale? We have compiled a list below of all the key information you will need to be aware of before their big day starts.
When is PrettyLittleThing's Black Friday sale?
PrettyLittleThing currently have a countdown on their website here for Black Friday. They say they are counting down the days to Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2022 and are "beyond hyped." Fans can even sign up via their email address on the page to keep up to date with the launch.
Last year though the fashion powerhouse launched their sales early, more than a week early to be exact. Their deal was very popular too. They launched up to 99% off everything site-wide on November 15, 2021, 11 days earlier than the actual event last year which took place on November, 26, 2021.
So it's likely in the week running up to November 25, 2022 or possible the week commencing November 14, PrettyLittleThing will launch their sale.
What to expect this Black Friday at PrettyLittleThing
It seems PLT have a tough job of beating their up to 99% off deal from last year so it's hard to predict what will be on the table for this year's event. Perhaps the same offer? One thing is for sure though, Molly-Mae Hague, who is a PrettyLittleThing director, will likely feature her collections in the sale.
They also had various sections in their Black Friday sale which included everything £8 and under section containing t-shirt's, dresses, crop tops, skirts, shorts and playsuits.
Up to 60% off dresses also featured too so shoppers could grab a bargain in time for the Christmas party season. Footwear also had 60% off and the minimum discount to feature on items was 20% but most were above 60% and up to 99%. Based on last's years trends shoppers can expect a mixture of discounts but the items will definitely have a good chunk slashed from their original price bracket.
