To express the inspiration of "The Movement", the upscale German leather brand MCM (Modern Creation München) recently debuted its autumn/winter 2022 collection for the first time in Asia Pacific at Iconsiam.
The designs for the ready-to-wear clothing for both men and women, as well as the three distinct capsule collections of bags, express a liveliness that is still sustainable and adds more exotic luxury while travelling.
"It is an honour that MCM has chosen Thailand as the first place in Asia Pacific to launch the autumn/winter 2022 collection. This collection was designed by global brand officer Dirk Schönberger, who presents 'The Movement'. This event was broadcast through live mannequins and also features a DJ booth and a cocktail bar that is decorated with LED lights in a very extravagant design with special drinks made only for this event," said Salin Suyarnsettakorn, managing director of PP Glam, which has been a distributor of MCM products in Thailand.
Sungjoo Kim, chief visionary officer of Sungjoo Group and MCM Holding AG, flew directly to attend the launch along with the MCM brand's muses such as Natapohn Tameeruks, Kannarun Wongkajornklai, Chalida Wijitvongtong and Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen.
The autumn/winter 2022 collection comes in three themes. The MCM Sommer embodies the summer's radiance, youth and vigour with vibrant cubic camouflage monograms inspired by diverse cultures.
Colourful boots are paired with stylish biker jackets in the MCMotor collection, which was inspired by the history of motorsport. A winter wonderland serves as the backdrop for the MCM Formative's inspiration. The main design focuses on the mix of bright colours and solid block patterns that go with every outfit, while biodegradable materials and fibres are used to provide an attractive touch to knitted sweaters and promote environmental consciousness.
