Preston North End boss Ryan Lowe claimed his side were "well worthy" of a win after they were held at home by Nottingham Forest at Deepdale last night.
The two sides fought out a goalless draw although the Lilywhites had the better of the chances in the Championship clash.
Forest felt they could have had a penalty when Keinan Davis was brought down but the decision wasn't given which irked Reds head coach Steve Cooper.
It was a frustrating night for both teams in front of goal, but Lilywhites boss Lowe felt his side had the better opportunities to seal the victory.
He said: "A very good performance, a very good reaction. I thought we were well worthy of the three points, it wasn’t to be, but I wasn’t disappointed with the effort. I thought the effort was fantastic.
“When you’ve come off the back of a performance that wasn’t very good, to get that showing against a good team in Nottingham Forest, I thought we were fantastic all over the park.
“There were a lot of good individual performances and we’re disappointed not to take all three points.
“But on another day, Cam scores them that he’s been scoring, fantastic goals, but we’re creating chances, I think we’ve had 14 or 15 attempts on target, we’ve had three or four clear-cut chances.
"I’m really pleased with the reaction and the attitude from Saturday and that was a Preston North End performance I’m proud of.”
Reflecting on his team's performance, Cooper said: "It was a tough night.
"I thought we started the better. We started on the front foot and got into some really good areas, but that fizzled out a bit and they got a foothold in the game.
"My personal view is that we should have had a penalty, but we don't tend to get those decisions this season.
"In the second half, we never really got going and they piled on the pressure. Ethan Horvath, who I thought was excellent, made a great save.
"We could have nicked it at the end when Djed got in down the side, but we turned the ball over too much.
"I'm satisfied with the point looking at the game and how it went. I want to take the positives out of it, we kept the clean sheet, stood strong and defended a lot of corners well.
"We know we can play better, but it may end up being a good point."
