PRESSURE returns with first club night of the year at SWG3

One of Glasgow's most famous club nights, PRESSURE, is returning for 2023 with the first party of the year happening at SWG3 in Finnieton.

Described as a "stripped back, no-nonsense, intense production packed with attitude", the event, which takes place next month, will feature residents Slam, who will be joined by French artist, DJ, producer and label founder Anetha.

Anetha, is a leading figure of the new generation of French DJs inspired by EBM, trance, electro and old-school 90s techno tracks, for over a decade, she's become one of Techno's most renowned DJs with her recent Mama Told Ya label takeover in Berghain in Germany and a new residency at Awakenings in the Netherlands.

She will also be introducing experimental techno artist and fellow Parisian DJ ABSL to the Glasgow scene.

Slam, who recently performed in San Francisco, New York City and then LA for NYE said: "We’re excited that Anetha will share the booth with us at our only Pressure party this side of the Riverside! We've been waiting to get her back to Glasgow. It's a testament to her meteoric rise in top tier Techno that this is the first date she could do in ages.

"Anetha was the last DJ to play for us before the lockdown, flying into Glasgow from Paris for a sold-out RTM party, not even sure if she could get back after. She rocked the Sub to its core then flew home a day before everything stopped.”
