Both major presidential candidates are engaging with their core supporters through various events. Vice President Kamala Harris is set to participate in a livestream with Oprah Winfrey, while Donald Trump will attend an event with prominent Jewish donors and address the Israeli-American Council.

Winfrey, who has endorsed Harris, will host a two-hour 'Unite for America' streaming session in Michigan to showcase grassroots groups supporting the vice president. On the other hand, Trump will speak at a 'Fighting Anti-Semitism in America' event with Miriam Adelson, followed by an address to the Israeli-American Council.

The Israeli-American Council, supported by prominent donors like Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban, is holding its national convention ahead of the first anniversary of Hamas' attacks on Israel, which led to the Gaza war.

Trump to rally in North Carolina after Federal Reserve's interest rate cut.

Harris has campaign stops planned in swing states Wisconsin and Georgia to highlight the case of a young mother who died after complications from an abortion pill. She links this tragedy to Trump's policies, particularly the Supreme Court's decision to overturn nationwide abortion rights.

Trump is scheduled for a rally in battleground North Carolina on Saturday. These campaign activities come after the Federal Reserve's significant half-point interest rate cut, a move that could impact the economic landscape as the election approaches.

Trump expressed skepticism about the rate cut, suggesting it reflects a struggling economy. The White House press secretary emphasized the Biden administration's respect for the Federal Reserve's independence, contrasting it with past administrations' approaches to central bank influence.
