President Donald Trump is set to welcome UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House today. The two leaders will convene in the Oval Office at 12:20 p.m. ET, followed by a private lunch and a subsequent news conference at 2:00 p.m. ET, as confirmed by the White House.
During the meeting, Starmer is expected to seek assurances from the US regarding Ukraine's security in the event of a potential war deal with Russia. Notably, President Trump has been hesitant to provide such guarantees in the past.

In a move to diversify the press pool, the White House has included additional media outlets for the second consecutive day. NewsNation will be joining as the secondary television crew, while the conservative outlet 'The Daily Signal,' known for its pro-Trump stance, will participate in the new media position. Reuters has been selected as the wire service included in the pool, while other wire services such as Bloomberg News and the Associated Press have not been included, according to White House guidance.
