President Trump Appeals Felony Conviction For Falsifying Documents

Former President Donald Trump is currently appealing his felony conviction for falsifying documents related to a hush money payment. Trump, now represented by attorneys from the prestigious law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, officially filed his appeal on Wednesday.

Heading Trump's new legal team is Bob Giuffra, a partner at Sullivan & Cromwell who was previously considered for the role of Attorney General. This change in legal representation comes as Trump's former trial attorneys, Todd Blanche and Emil Bove, are anticipated to transition into key positions within the Justice Department.

Notably, Trump was recently sentenced to no prison time earlier this month. The appeal process will likely involve a thorough review of the case and legal arguments presented during the trial.
