As the transition between presidential administrations nears, both President-elect Trump and President Biden celebrated the Christmas holiday in their own ways. President-elect Trump, who is set to be inaugurated on Jan. 20, took to Truth Social to share his festive wishes, exclaiming, 'MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!' He also posted a photo with his wife Melania, bearing the message 'MERRY CHRISTMAS!'
On the other hand, President Biden, in what he acknowledged as his final Christmas message as president, expressed his well wishes to the nation. In a post on the @POTUS presidential account, Biden stated, 'For the last time as your president, it's my honor to wish all of America a very Merry Christmas. My hope for our nation, today and always, is that we continue to seek the light of liberty and love, kindness and compassion, dignity and decency. May God bless you all.'
Additionally, a post on the @JoeBiden account featuring a photo of President Biden and first lady Jill Biden conveyed the message, 'Merry Christmas, everyone!'
President Trump, who secured victory over Vice President Harris in the recent election, made history by winning a second non-consecutive term, a feat previously achieved only by Grover Cleveland in the 19th century. As Trump prepares for a new chapter in his political career in the upcoming year, President Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history, announced earlier this year that he would not seek re-election in 2024 following a debate performance against Trump that received criticism.
