President Joe Biden addressed reporters in the White House’s East Room on Thursday, stating his intention to visit New Orleans in the aftermath of the recent attack on Bourbon Street. The President had earlier convened a meeting with his national security team in the Situation Room, during which he instructed his team to provide full support to federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to expedite the ongoing investigations.
During a subsequent address from the State Dining Room, President Biden reassured the public that there was no evidence suggesting the involvement of any additional individuals in the execution of the attack on Wednesday.
