Biden received briefings from senior officials at DHS, FBI, and White House homeland security team.
President Biden directly contacted Mayor Cantrell regarding the incident in New Orleans.
The communication between Biden and Cantrell was in response to the morning's incident.

Throughout the morning, Biden also has been briefed by senior leadership at the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and his White House homeland security team.
