However, sources within the White House suggest that Biden has a favorable view of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, considering him a top contender. Biden, who views Pennsylvania as a crucial battleground state, has expressed admiration for Shapiro. Another potential candidate that Biden seems to have a positive opinion of is Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, whom an adviser described as 'a blast.'
In January, Walz joined Biden at an infrastructure event in Wisconsin, where they engaged with voters at a local brewery. The adviser noted that Walz's enthusiasm was palpable and left a positive impression on those present.
