President Biden's COVID-19 Symptoms Improve, Continues Treatment

U.S. President Joe Biden and U.S. first lady Jill Biden arrive in Dover

President Joe Biden's physician recently shared an update on the President's health status following his positive COVID-19 diagnosis. According to Dr. Kevin O'Connor, President Biden received his fourth dose of PAXLOVID and has shown improvement in his symptoms.

The President's primary symptoms of a loose, nonproductive cough and hoarseness have significantly improved since yesterday. Dr. O'Connor reported that President Biden's vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and temperature, remain normal. His oxygen saturation levels on room air are excellent, and his lungs are clear.

PCR testing confirmed that President Biden is still positive for COVID-19, with the identification of the specific variant pending. However, all of his bloodwork, including Complete Blood Count and Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, showed normal results with no signs of anemia, bacterial infection, or abnormalities in kidney and liver function.

Dr. O'Connor stated that President Biden is responding well to treatment and will continue with the prescribed medication. Despite his diagnosis, the President remains committed to fulfilling his duties for the American people.

Since testing positive for coronavirus, President Biden has been isolating at his residence in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. His medical team continues to monitor his condition closely to ensure his recovery.
