The campaign attributed much of the performance to a cold that Biden was battling at the time, with Biden himself dismissing it as just a 'bad night.'
Recent developments have further impacted the campaign, as the White House confirmed that President Biden tested positive for COVID-19 this week. As a result, campaign events in Las Vegas, Nevada, had to be canceled, and the President is currently recuperating in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
