When asked if the event would be bittersweet for him, Biden chose to describe it as 'memorable,' indicating the significance of the occasion.
Aside from his keynote address, Biden's presence at the convention is further highlighted by a special sign on the Democratic convention floor designating him as a delegate from Delaware. This gesture acknowledges Biden's home state and his imminent passing of the torch to his running mate.
The Delaware delegation's front row features signs for notable members such as Sens. Chris Coons and Tom Carper, and Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester. However, Biden's sign, which has not been assigned to a specific chair, stands out as a symbol of his transition from presidential nominee to supporter of Vice President Harris.
