BAFTAs presenter Richard E Grant has said he "felt bad" for Colin Farrell at the awards ceremony after he failed to take home the top prize.
Colin Farrell had been nominated for the BAFTA for Best Actor for his role in The Banshees of Inisherin but missed out on to Austin Butler, who won for his portrayal of Elvis.
The Irish actor is still in the running for an Oscar next month and he remains a favourite to win Best Actor.

Grant, who hosted the BAFTAs in London on Sunday, said he thought Colin Farrell was a "dead cert" to win in the category.
However, he said he knew what Farrell was feeling after missing out as he himself also failed to win a BAFTA for his role in Can You Ever Forgive Me? in 2019.
Speaking to Ray D'Arcy on RTE Radio One on Tuesday, Grant said: "In the fear of committing careericide, when I saw the nominations I knew that I know most or have worked with most of them. That helps a lot.
"You feel really bad because it seemed like Colin Farrell was an absolute dead cert. I felt so bad for him because I know that situation - having been nominated three years ago for a film that I was in.
"You spend your evening consoling the people that feel so disappointed on your behalf. It's a weird situation to be in.
"I could feel for Colin that that's probably what he was going through. Hopefully, the Oscars will rectify it."
