Dan Walker said he refuses to work on Sunday due to his Christian faith.
The former BBC Breakfast presenter bid his final farewell last month as he moved to Channel 5 to pursue news anchoring. He joined the Loose Women panel today to discuss his departure along with his show-stopping moves in last year's Strictly Come Dancing that had viewers' heads turning.
No sooner than he sat down did Katie Piper mention Dan had somewhat of a personal conflict with working on a Sunday. She asked: "You don't work Sundays, is that right?"

Dan was hesitant in his response at first but slowly opened up about his Christian background and beliefs as to why he feels that way. He said: "I suppose in this country we don't have a tradition of talking about it but I'm happy to say my faith is a big part of who I am.
"I don't swear but I do say my three Fs... family, faith and friends are important parts to me specifically in this industry. From my perspective my faith grounds me, the faith never takes me too high and the criticism never takes me too low. I like to have that separation."
The television presenter spoke to The Express to say he found it difficult finding people on the same wavelength but added it's important to keep work and personal life separate: He said: "I’ve always had that day as a family day.
"Sometimes, it’s been difficult, and some people find it peculiar that that’s the stance I’ve chosen to take. But it’s really important. I work a lot, so I have to make up for the fact that I'm not there. My faith is important to me. It's what makes me tick."
